What to Bring to Tryouts
Bring a water bottle and soccer ball
Wear cleats and shin guards
Bring on-line registration confirmation form - or completed Registration Form (with Parent's signature!)
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early
Training, League And Tournament Information
Most often, training takes place at Pacesetter Park three days per week. It is anticipated that formal training will begin in early August.
Pacesetter Soccer Club makes every attempt to match teams to leagues and tournaments that provide solid competition and will permit growth for individual teams. Until teams are formed, it is difficult to declare which leagues and tournaments are most appropriate for a specific team.
Pacesetter Soccer Club anticipates entry into many of the same leagues teams participated in during the past season:
- NWOYSL
- Michigan Champions League
- Michigan State Premier Soccer Program
- OYSAN State League
Premier teams generally attend three tournaments in the fall season, two or three tournaments in the spring, depending on the calendar. Select teams will attend two with a possible third. The Club is considering a variety of Fall season tournaments.
Important Note: It is expected and anticipated that players will attend all training sessions, games and tournaments. Please keep in mind that the Fall league season generally runs from late August to early November.
